At Angels we relish any opportunity to dress up so naturally Halloween is one of our favourite days of the year. Anything goes on this occasion but there really is no better way to spend this holiday than by paying tribute to your favourite horror movie characters.
BFI Gothic has not wasted any time preparing for Halloween and has come up with the perfect competition that we are proud to be a part of. The rules are simple and the only limit is how extensive your knowledge of horror movies is. There are some awesome prizes to be won that are guaranteed to excite all horror fans and to be in with a chance, all you have to do is dress up as your favourite horror movie character.
Whether you’re a fan of classic silent horror, video nasties or slasher movies, BFI Gothic wants to see you bring your favourites to life, so take a photo of yourself dressed up and share it with them via Facebook, Twitter, Instagram or directly by email. From Dr. Caligari to Leatherface, the last 100 years has served up some truly iconic characters to inspire you and what better way to honour your own favourite then by dressing up as them?
There are some fantastic prizes on offer, which is where we come in, because you could end up winning a tour around our very own Angels the Costumiers. We provide costumes for Film, TV and Theatre productions and our tours have become incredibly popular, offering an insight into our tailoring departments, alterations section, costume warehouse and jewellery department. A lot of time and effort goes into the creation of our costumes, and we would love to share the process with you.
